{"id":3226,"date":"2020-10-23T11:35:05","date_gmt":"2020-10-23T15:35:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/uuphost.org\/buffalo\/?p=3226"},"modified":"2020-10-23T16:39:37","modified_gmt":"2020-10-23T20:39:37","slug":"upcoming-enrollments-for-benefit-programs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/uuphost.org\/buffalo\/2020\/10\/23\/upcoming-enrollments-for-benefit-programs\/","title":{"rendered":"Upcoming Enrollments for Benefit Programs"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Dear Colleagues,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Just a reminder on important upcoming dates for your Union negotiated benefits:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Flex Spending Open Enrollment Period<\/strong>:\u00a0Nov. 2-30, 2020<\/li><li><strong>PEP Enrollment Period<\/strong>: Nov. 2-30, 2020<\/li><li><strong>PTCP Election Period 2021<\/strong>: This program allows your Health insurance premiums to be deducted from your paycheck before taxes are withheld, date to be announced.<\/li><li><strong>Option Transfer Information Availability<\/strong>: This date will be announced once the NYSHIP rates have been approved.<\/li><li><strong>Young Adult Option Enrollment<\/strong>: This date will be announced once the NYSHIP rates have been approved.<\/li><li><strong>Outstanding items<\/strong>: The new 2021 NYSHIP rates and the drug list for the Empire Plan.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Attached for your information are communications materials for the Flex Spending Account (FSA) program, which includes three benefits \u2013 the Health Care Spending Account, the Dependent Care Advantage Account, and the Adoption Advantage Account.&nbsp; UUP Bargaining Unit Members will be able to apply for enrollment for the 2021 plan year either online or by telephone between&nbsp;November&nbsp;2, 2020 and November 30, 2020 at 10:00 p.m.&nbsp; Please note that the annual contribution that a member may make to the Health Care Spending Account has increased to $2,750 for the 2021 plan year. &nbsp;In&nbsp;addition,&nbsp;the annual contribution that a member may make to the Adoption Advantage Account has increased to $14,300 for the 2021 plan year. Attached to this email you will find program information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are several new changes for the 2021 plan year. &nbsp;HealthEquity has acquired WageWorks and is now the FSA Administrator. If a member received a WageWorks-branded debit card in 2020, they may still use it to pay for their 2021 health care expenses. They may also continue to use the EZ Receipts mobile app to submit claims and check their account balance.
