International Workers Day is tomorrow May 1st! Please join us for our event at the Alumni House from 4:30-6:30pm!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As you know, contract negotiations are proceeding well, and we are hoping for an on-time contract. Our negotiations team are asking UUP Chapters across the state to step up and show support tomorrow May 1st. We want to send a message to the state that a strong on-time contract is important to us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please can you help out \u2013 here are some ways to do so:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Wear Red on Friday May 1st in solidarity<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Stop by the Alumni House to \u201craise your stake\u201d and sign a card to support negotiations \u2013 official celebrations 4.30-6.30 but we will be there to assist earlier in the afternoon. If you didn’t RSVP, Don’t worry–Still stop by!<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Record a short video message and send to the chapter or statewide to post \u2013 you can find instructions here https:\/\/uupinfo.org\/negotiations\/<\/u><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    I know this is a busy time, but it will help a lot if you can spare a few minutes to show support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
