Each day we are seeing new attacks on our higher ed from the federal government– funding cuts to scientific research,  terminated grants in the humanities,  threats to DEI initiatives, and risks to students and faculty from immigration authorities. It’s important now more than ever to stand up and raise our voices in support of the vital work we do as educators.

Please join your fellow UUP members on the quad on Thursday, April 17 from 12-2 for a “Stand Up for Higher Ed” rally. Even if you can only come for a few minutes and hold up a sign in solidarity, your voice is vital.  Please join us!!!
