International Workers Day is tomorrow May 1st! Please join us for our event at the Alumni House from 4:30-6:30pm!
As you know, contract negotiations are proceeding well, and we are hoping for an on-time contract. Our negotiations team are asking UUP Chapters across the state to step up and show support tomorrow May 1st. We want to send a message to the state that a strong on-time contract is important to us.
Please can you help out – here are some ways to do so:
- Wear Red on Friday May 1st in solidarity
- Stop by the Alumni House to “raise your stake” and sign a card to support negotiations – official celebrations 4.30-6.30 but we will be there to assist earlier in the afternoon. If you didn’t RSVP, Don’t worry–Still stop by!
- Record a short video message and send to the chapter or statewide to post – you can find instructions here https://uupinfo.org/negotiations/
I know this is a busy time, but it will help a lot if you can spare a few minutes to show support.
