UUP has negotiated its bargaining unit members one of the best benefit packages in the United States, providing generous dental, vision, scholarship and life insurance benefits.
Full members (who are thereby affiliate members of AFT, NYSUT, NEA, and AFL-CIO) have access to additional, exclusive benefits. Fill out the UUP membership application form to become a full member.

Productivity Enhancement Program (PEP)
PEP enables UUP members to reduce their bi-weekly share of NYSHIP health insurance premiums by trading in vacation days. Enrollment period for the following year usually happens in the month of November.
