No Cost Travel Assistance
MetLife provides UUP members with travel assistance as part of the MetLife PAD&D insurance that's available to all active UUP bargaining unit members.
The travel assistance service gives UUP members access to emergency services while they travel, as well as concierge assistance for personal and work-related travel and entertainment requests. It provides UUP members and their dependents with emergency medical, political and natural disaster evacuation, legal, transportation and financial assistance 24 hours a day, 365 days a year when they’re more than 100 miles away from home.
If a UUP member is traveling and needs medical advice for common and minor illnesses, the member and covered family members can have virtual consultations with licensed medical professionals, 24/7.
Identity Theft Solutions is also available to help educate members on identity theft prevention and provide assistance in the event of becoming a victim of identity theft.
