Basic Life and Personal Accidental Death & Dismemberment (PAD&D) Insurance for Active Members
UUP Benefit Trust Fund offers Basic Life and Personal Accidental Death & Dismemberment (PAD&D) coverage for active, UUP-represented employees through MetLife.
Your Basic Life coverage amount is $10,000. UUP also provides you with $10,000 of Personal Accidental Death & Dismemberment (PAD&D) coverage to complement your Basic Life insurance, at no additional cost to you.
We don’t require you to answer any health questions for enrollment in the coverage. Your coverage becomes active on the date you enter an eligible class.
