{"id":3602,"date":"2026-07-13T12:25:28","date_gmt":"2026-07-13T16:25:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uuphost.org\/cortland\/?p=3602"},"modified":"2026-07-14T10:48:33","modified_gmt":"2026-07-14T14:48:33","slug":"uup-ratification-and-voting-process","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/uuphost.org\/cortland\/?p=3602","title":{"rendered":"UUP Ratification and Voting Process"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>UUP Ratification and Voting Process<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>UUP uses a union company, MK Election Services, to administer our ratification process. <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Any active member of UUP in good standing as of June 4, 2026, will be eligible to cast a ballot in the contract ratification vote.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>MK Elections will be\u00a0mailing ratification postcards to members who are eligible to vote on <strong>July 7-9, 2026<\/strong>. These postcards are member-specific; each postcard will have an\u00a0<span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>individualized access code<\/strong><\/span> that will allow that member to vote.<\/p>\n<p>On July 10, MK Elections will send an email with the\u00a0information in the postcard\u2014including the <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>individualized access code and a link<\/strong> to the online ballot\u2014to members eligible to vote.\u00a0 <strong>Electronic voting will begin at 9 am\u00a0on July 10\u00a0and close at 5 pm on July 27, 2026.<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Prior to the mailing\/email from MK Elections, UUP will send an email with information about the ratification process to our broadest email distribution list.\u00a0 That email will also alert members to a new update on UUP\u2019s Members Only web portal.<\/p>\n<p>Lastly, for those who don&#8217;t receive a postcard\/email and believe they should have, please <strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">call MK Elections at 203-403-8401<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>UUP Ratification and Voting Process UUP uses a union company, MK Election Services, to administer our ratification process.
