Members Only Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Clinics on the following dates:<\/strong><\/span>
\n<\/strong>Wednesday, June 17, 2026 from 5:00pm to 6:30pm via zoom<\/strong><\/p>\n

To attend one of the virtual\u00a0Members Only\u00a0<\/strong>Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Clinics, you must pre-register here:\u00a0http:\/\/go.aft.org\/StudentDebtClinicRSVP<\/a>. From the \u201cstudent debt clinic\u201d drop down menu, please select the UUP clinic that you are interested in attending \u2013 they are labeled \u201cUUP [Virtual Student Debt Clinic] [date] [time].\u201d In the affiliate field, type in the full name of our local (United University Professions), and it will autofill after a few keystrokes.<\/p>\n

Registration is first-come, first-serve, and we must cap attendance for a single clinic at 125 participants to ensure that we are able to provide maximum assistance to attendees. Registration will close 48 hours prior to the virtual clinic. Webinar login information will be provided prior to the clinic to all who register.<\/p>\n

Retirement Benefits Workshops Part 1 & 2:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The pre-retirement webinar workshops, part 1 – (healthcare\/medicare) and part 2 \u2013 (Union Benefits: dental\/vision) will take place online on June 23rd<\/strong> for part 1 at 12:00pm and June 25th<\/strong> for part 2 at 12:00pm. Tier 6 Fix<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

For those in the NYSERS\/NYCERS retirement programs, the contribution bands have been altered to reduce the amount individuals have to contribute, as follows for specific income levels. This translates to more money in our pockets once the changes go into effect.<\/p>\n
