{"id":8102,"date":"2026-07-15T08:07:59","date_gmt":"2026-07-15T12:07:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uuphost.org\/buffalo\/?p=8102"},"modified":"2026-07-15T08:08:00","modified_gmt":"2026-07-15T12:08:00","slug":"action-needed-vote-on-the-contract","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/uuphost.org\/buffalo\/2026\/07\/15\/action-needed-vote-on-the-contract\/","title":{"rendered":"Action Needed: Vote on the Contract"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Colleagues,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are now in the process of voting on our contract and we are hoping that you will show the governor that you care about our union by voting.&nbsp; The more votes we have, the more the governor thinks we are serious about our union.&nbsp; Only members who were on payroll prior to June 4, 2026 are eligible to vote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you&#8217;ve missed the tentative contract presentation, you can view it on the <a href=\"https:\/\/uupunion.org\/myuup\/MembersOnly\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Members Only Site<\/a>.&nbsp; If you can&#8217;t remember your Member ID, please call the Benefit Trust Fund at 1-800-887-3863.&nbsp; They will provide you the ID number.&nbsp; While you are talking with them, you can also request a membership card with the ID on it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">MK Elections mailed ratification postcards to members who are eligible to vote last week to your homes.
