At our most recent Formal Labor Management Meeting, concerns were brought to the attention of the administration regarding university exclusions to the Article 49 Provision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The UUP Buffalo Center was pleased to be informed late last week that \u201c\u2026the Provost has approved a change to UB\u2019s implementation of the Article 49 provision. Beginning in fall 2023, UB will remove the exclusion of individual instruction including thesis guidance from this program.\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Even though this will not begin until the Fall 2023 semester, a Thank You goes out to those members who brought this issue to the Chapter so that this specific term and condition of employment at the university could be changed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
