Dear Members,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As UUP gears up to ready itself to negotiate our next contract, we have been charged by the UUP Central Contract Committee with prioritizing needs that our specific campus has.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have been given specific instructions to set aside:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1) Across the Board raises that account for rising inflation or Consumer Price Index; <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2) Protecting or expanding health benefits; <\/p>\n\n\n\n

3) Telecommuting.    <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The UUP Central Committee is aware of the importance of these issues as they apply to a very large portion of our membership across the state. They have assured us that they will be working to achieve these goals. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To supplement these priorities, they\u2019ve asked us to identify 3-5 additional negotiation priorities, particularly those which might have some chapter-specific implications.\u00a0 They are looking for issues that will have specific resonance or impact at UB.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please register for one (or more, if you want) of the following Zoom meeting Dates\/times via the Google form at: https:\/\/forms.gle\/grtgqVGyM9eG45vo9<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

An invite will be sent to you after you have registered for a particular session(s).  We will need to get our priorities into UUP Central by January 15.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0December 10, 10 \u2013 11 am
4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0December 13, 10 \u2013 11 am
5.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0December 14, 1 \u2013 2 pm
6.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0December 17, 10 \u2013 11 am<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 If you are unable to attend these meetings, I ask that you email me at kmkielar@buffalo.edu<\/a> with your contract priorities listing them as priority 1, 2, 3, etc..  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
