{"id":3398,"date":"2021-01-05T09:11:25","date_gmt":"2021-01-05T14:11:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/uuphost.org\/buffalo\/?p=3398"},"modified":"2021-01-05T09:11:27","modified_gmt":"2021-01-05T14:11:27","slug":"reminder-uup-individual-development-awards-deadline-january-25th","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/uuphost.org\/buffalo\/2021\/01\/05\/reminder-uup-individual-development-awards-deadline-january-25th\/","title":{"rendered":"Reminder: UUP Individual Development Awards &#8211; Deadline January 25th"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Greetings,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Governor\u2019s Office of Employee Relations (GOER) and United University Professions (UUP) are pleased to announce the&nbsp;<strong>availability of the Individual Development Awards (IDA)<\/strong>&nbsp;provided for and funded under the UUP 2016-2022 Agreement.&nbsp;The purpose of the awards program is to assist eligible full-time and part-time employees in developing their full professional potential with an emphasis on preparing for advancement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>IDA Program Details:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Funds are allocated for activity between for activity between&nbsp;<strong>July 2, 20<\/strong><strong>20<\/strong><strong>&nbsp;and July 1, 20<\/strong><strong>21<\/strong>.<\/li><li><strong>Application Due Date:&nbsp;<\/strong>1\/25\/2021<\/li><li><strong>Award Amount:<\/strong>&nbsp;$1,000 maximum per award period. Employees may only be funded for one project or activity per award period.&nbsp;<strong>This is a reimbursement program.<\/strong><ul><li>Should an individual receive an award, it must be a direct payment to the award recipient and may no longer be processed through an Inter-Departmental Invoice (IDI)<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Types of support available:<ul><li>Registration fees for conferences or workshops<\/li><li>Travel and related expenses (includes lodging and meals)<\/li><li>Tuition at the maximum allowable SUNY rate at the time of application<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Please&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.buffalo.edu\/administrative-services\/announcements.host.html\/content\/shared\/www\/administrative-services\/news\/2020\/uup-indiv-award.detail.html\">view the announcement on our website<\/a>&nbsp;to learn more about program eligibility and the application process.
