Dear Colleagues,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After the Thanksgiving break (Nov. 25-29), UB will transition to remote learning for the rest of the fall semester. It is also been identified that the Spring semester classes will begin on Monday, February 1st.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Those members who have been reporting to campus to work, are encouraged to speak to your supervisor about the possibility of increasing your opportunity to utilize the telecommuting option during this time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Generally, if an employee is able to perform their full obligation remotely and has been productive in doing so and assuming there is no intervening need, employees should be working remotely. As of now, the discretion for these decisions remains with the respective department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
