This is often traditionally done through the one on one meetings you have with your immediate supervisor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The COVID-19 crisis has now established a new set of workers concerns for returning to SUNY campuses across the state. As the University looks to a modified model of operations for the upcoming fall semester, it is critically important that you have a discussion with your immediate supervisor if you have personal concerns about returning to campus, based on reopening guidelines established by the CDC and the State of New York.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These situations would include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>You identify yourself as a high risk individual.<\/li><li>You are living with someone who is identified as a high risk individual.<\/li><li>You have a specific childcare related issue as a result of the COVID crisis.<\/li><li>You have concerns over your department\u2019s reopening plan ensuring your personal health and safety, as well as enforcement of those staff or students who refuse to comply with health and safety requests.<\/li><li>You have concerns about teaching face-to-face.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have not do so already, you are encouraged to email your concerns to your immediate supervisor, as plans are being made for the fall semester, and allow for a response.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As often stated throughout our various Chapter Meetings, communication with your immediate Supervisor should always be the very first step in establishing work related issues and concerns, in hopes of mutual agreements regarding work load and performance.
