{"id":2243,"date":"2019-12-11T12:24:17","date_gmt":"2019-12-11T17:24:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/uuphost.org\/buffalo\/?p=2243"},"modified":"2020-05-28T18:34:25","modified_gmt":"2020-05-28T22:34:25","slug":"individual-development-awards","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/uuphost.org\/buffalo\/2019\/12\/11\/individual-development-awards\/","title":{"rendered":"Individual Development Awards"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Good afternoon,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Governor\u2019s Office of Employee Relations (GOER) and United University Professions (UUP) are pleased to announce the <strong>availability of the Individual Development Awards (IDA)<\/strong> provided for and funded under the UUP 2016-2022 Agreement.&nbsp;The purpose of the awards program is to assist eligible full-time and part-time employees in developing their full professional potential with an emphasis on preparing for advancement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>IDA Program Details:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Funds are allocated for activity between <strong>July 2, 2019 and July 1, 2020<\/strong>.<\/li><li><strong>Application Due Date: <\/strong>1\/3\/2020<\/li><li><strong>Award Amount:<\/strong> $1,000 maximum per award period. Employees may only be funded for one project or activity per award period. <strong>This is a reimbursement program.<\/strong><\/li><li>Types of support available:<ul><li>Registration fees for conferences or workshops<\/li><li>Travel and related expenses (includes lodging and meals)<\/li><li>Research-related supplies<\/li><li>Tuition at the maximum allowable SUNY rate at the time of application<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Please note that should an individual receive an award, it must be a direct payment to the award recipient and may no longer be processed as a reimbursement to the department through an Inter-Departmental Invoice (IDI).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please <a href=\"http:\/\/www.buffalo.edu\/administrative-services\/announcements\/administrative-services-announcements.host.html\/content\/shared\/www\/administrative-services\/news\/2019\/uup-indiv-award.html\">view the announcement on our website<\/a> to learn more about program eligibility and the application process.
